Afghan Custom Clothing

The majority of Afghan women bear the weight of providing for their families as the primary breadwinners. They are tasked with supporting households consisting of four to ten individuals. However, due to the restrictions imposed by current societal norms and regulations, many of these women face limited opportunities to engage in activities beyond their homes. Despite these challenges, these skilled and resourceful women have found a means of expressing their creativity and providing for their families by creating distinctive handmade clothing, a craft they can execute within the confines of their homes.
